I believe that leadership is a process and leaders are people who engage in that process. To me, leadership is about guiding and supporting ourselves and others to navigate toward a common goal. Leaders offer a beacon of light we can look to when we lose our way. They lead by example and are fallible human beings.

I don’t think people are born leaders. I think we gain skills and develop personalities that might lend itself more useful to leadership, but everyone can find their own way in the process of leadership.
